ECPL's
computer labs are state-of-the-art facilities. We have 3 branches to
serve you.. The main library, which was
built in 2005, holds thirty computers that provide our patrons with
internet access, Microsoft software, and other programs. The labs are
managed by a coordinator and are staffed at all times by a professional
Lab Technician.
The East Cleveland Public Library System offers free computer classes to the public. The classes are basic training courses for the beginner or limited user.
The six computer classes offered are, Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Microsoft Word (MS Office wordprocessing), Word II, WinWay Resume (a resume format) , Introduction to Internet I, and Internet II.
The Computer Lab is also available anytime during the scheduled “OPEN LAB” hours for general use. These tutorials can be accessed from any of our labs at all three sites. Using the computer labs and enrolling in our free classes is an excellent way to update your job and computer skills.
