Statement of Purpose
The East Cleveland Public Library welcomes those who wish to share and donate their knowledge, skills and talents to the provision of public library service in the community of East Cleveland, Ohio. Volunteers contribute to the well-being of their community and are a valuable part of the library’s relationship with the community it serves. Volunteers derive benefits from their contribution of effort by developing skills, accumulating work experience and by actively supporting library services. The library and its volunteers work together to meet its goals and mission while maximizing the use of skills and talent that exist in our community.
